Lagniappe is a French word that means “to give a little something extra”. As a Louisiana company, we practice lagniappe by giving back to the community where we are from and taking care of the environment where we live.
Here are some neighbors we have had the privilege of working with:
Beginning in 2015, Baywater Drilling has participated every year in fundraising and donating all proceeds to Relay for Life. In 2016, we were honored as an Ambassador of Hope for the Mid-South Division.
In December 2016 and 2017, our office employees collected more than 250 unwrapped toys. These toys were presented to The Haven, a domestic violence center serving Terrebonne, Lafourche and Assumption Parishes.
In addition to volunteering at events and participating in fundraisers, members of our team serve on the board of directors for The Haven, a domestic violence center.
After Youngsville, LA flooded in August 2016, we volunteered to support our neighbors in their time of need. In addition to donating school and cleaning supplies, we served meals to the community, including:
After Hurricane Harvey hit Texas in August 2017, Baywater employees sprung into action to help our neighbors in need. Employees organized a supply drive and sent a truckload of much needed supplies to the community of Vanderbilt, Texas. We sent a crew of mechanics and skilled construction team to Houston and the surrounding areas to assist in the recovery and rebuilding efforts. Baywater also served meals to residents, law enforcement, first responders and many more in the communities of Refugio, Texas and Rockport, Texas. In total, more than 3,600 meals were served over five days.
